Hello and I'll go back to MII Hont Tayour week is going really well and happy Lednesday. I've actually had areally productive morning. I've organized my shopping list and Icleaned up my house and I got some laundry put away and I even scheduled adentist appliytment. So I hope that you guys are all having a productive dayand if you're, not that's, okay, too, because I love a lazy day personallyand sometimes it's just as beneficial as a productive day. So today we are going to talk about theKito Diet, and this is a subject that literally frustrates me beyond belief, and that is because a lot of people swear by this diet and really believeit to be healthy and beneficial hat. They are so wrong about that. I can deal with hearing about stupidity, about the human body to a certain extent, but the people that believethat there's literally nothing wrong with the Kito Diet and like share itout to all their friends- and you know social, medial, followers and whateverthat that just makes me so angry. So...

...there is a reason that diets and supplements and medicationshave so many disclaimers all over them and I'm sure that you've seen them likeon the back of a pack of cigarettes where it says women that are pregnant, shouldn't smoke or on bottles of alcohol where it says you know, this could affect youdifferently, if you're on certain medications and whatnot and onprescription bottles and bottles of IB Profen, it all says you know, couldcause damage to your liver. But I think a lot of people disregard those because they see thething on the bottle. That says this will reduce your fever, or this willmake you feel better, as will lower your inflammation, and I think that inthat a lot of the actual cellular mechanism gets disregarded or lost. So...

...these disclaimers are there because amajority of people don't research what they're taking or what they're puttingin their body or what they're doing with their body. So there's a term for this: The action of these medications anddiets and supplements and whatnot, and that is method of action, and I willfrequently use this term when I do these medical episodes and the best wayfor me to describe method of action to you. Guys is by using an example- andthis might be a little bit hard to follow in the beginning. But I have aversion that is a little bit easier immediately afterwards. So this isgoing to be the method of action of Penicillin, and this I took just off ofthe wikipedia page because it's like literally written exactly how it shouldbe, and while it is a little bit hard to followfor people that are not in the science community, I'm going to fix it for youguys afterwards. So venicillan kills...

...acceptable bacteria by specificallyinhibiting the transpeptodas that catalyzes the final step in cell wallbiosynthesis the cross linking of Peptodoguakan so in an easier format. Penicillan doesn'tallow the proteins on the bacteria sell wall to bind to each other effectivelylicing the cell or splinting. It open and spilling its guts out. So that'show Penicilan is able to destroy a lot of bacteria because medication bottles just say youknow what I said earlier. You know just reduces pain or reduces your fever or whatever most baddiets are also spread by word of mouth, andso the method of action of these items kind of gets lost, and I cannot stress US enough. It is soimportant to know how these things are interacting in your body, and you know,if you're on multiple medications, it's...

...important to know how those medicationswill interact with each other. So let's go over my own disclaimer, really quick. Theinformation in this podcast as well as Thoe, that follow, is informationreadily available on the Internet. I've spent my own time researching theseevents and have included only information I deem necessary indescribing the events to my audience. That being said, some informationtopics and opinions expressed from this point on could be considered explicit, grotesque and or offpudding. Listen with your own discretion all right. So let's get back to the Kito Diet. I willsay this really quickly, though there are certain specific circumstances that for very short amounts of time, the Kito Diet can be beneficial, but we'll get to that towards the end, and so we're going to quickly go overthe method of action of the Kito Diet.

The exact mechanism is not completelyknown, so we're just getting that out there out front, but the main idea is the restriction ofcarbohydrates. So this is a high fat high protein diet, which carbohydratesin the body are converted into Glue Coast to be used as an energy source. So when carbohydrates are not readily available, the body will first go forthe stored fets, so immediately you're thinking, okay! Well, this doesn't sound super bad. It sounds like I'm just going to lose a lot offat and I'm just going to deprive my body of glue coast for a little bit, which might not be that bad for me, but after this fatty acids will beconverted into keytone bodies. So this is when you're actually in Catosis, soit takes about seventy two hours, if you're doing the Diet properly to beFullyan Katosis and the Ke different...

...keytone bodies are Bata. HydroxyButrite, a Seto acitate an acetone, and these keytone bodies are able to crossthe blood brain barrier and can give energy to the brain when Glue coast isnot available. So, like I said earlier, it doesn'tsound super bad. Your body's compensating for the lack of Glue Coastyou're losing a bunch of stored fats. It sounds sounds pretty good, butthere's a reason that this diet is dangerous and it's because after thestord fats can't keep up with the demand for Gluecos, the body will gofor your muscles and a lot of people once they lose abunch of stored, fats, they're like yeah. This diet is great, I'm justgoing to keep doing it and then they start losing a significant amount ofmuscle, mass and because muscle burns, more calories than fats than metabolismactually decreases as well, which sets you up to gain back a lot of fat whenyou're off the Kyto Diet. So basically,...

...what I'm saying is you lose a bunch of stored fat, so youkeep doing it for a little bit longer like. I just want to lose a couple morepounds right, you're, losing pounds in muscle after that after that point, so then your body is like. Oh, you know,I don't have to metabolize as quickly anymore, because I'm just burningthrough muscle right. So then, once you have lost your desired amount of weight, you go off of the Kito Diet and you immediately gain that weight backbecause you start eating what you were eating before when you had a highermetabolism, and now your body can't keep up. So it's just converting all ofthose carbs to stored fats. So, let's get into the actual, trulyterrifying part about it, which is that your heart is entirely muscle andconnective tissue. So if you think that the body is smartenough to distinguish between taking...

...muscle from you know your Trisep oryour gas rock or like arms and legs, as opposed to yourheart, you're completely wrong, because the body is not going to care where itcomes from right. So cuto diets are also generally reallyhigh and cholesterol, because you're eating a lot of protein and mostly thatproteins coming from animal sources, meaning that in the process of tryingto get healthier and lose all this fat, you're kaking up your arteries withPlaqu. And if you remember from my last episode in the Autopsy Episode, I talked abouthow the deceased heart the right, cornary artery, was completely blockedoff, which caused them to have Pulmonariadema. So this is.This is already something incredibly dangerous,...

...so hig fat diets, like Kito, increasethe risk of cardiovascular disease kind of like how I just talked about it. Also in a study of twenty five thousandpeople from the European Society of Cardiology Congress, people that are onhigh fat diets, like Kito, have the highest risks of dying from cancercardiovascular disease and have a higher chance of becoming diabetic. So, if you just think about that lastsentence, I just said highest risk of dying from cancer andcardiovascular disease. That's not something! Your friends aretelling you when they're telling you Kito is so good. I've lost so muchweight. You've lost so much weight, but you'vegained so much plaqin your arteries and yourheart is not going to be able to deal with that. So, yes, the Kino Diet can help youlose weight, but with significant risks...

...to your health. So earlier I did mention that Kito canbe beneficial to a small amount of people, so the that small amount ofpeople is people that have epilepsy and people that have diabetes, so peoplewith epilepsy can benefit from being in Kitosis, because the compounds that aresynthesized in the Kito Diet have anti convulsont properties, whichbasically means instead of taking anti convulcant medications. That could be, you know, have harmful side effects or the side effects could be worse thandoing the Kito Diet for a short amount of time. These anti conbullsents reduce theprevalence at seizures. So for people with epilepsy, you know maybe going ona Kito Diet for a week and a half or two weeks out of every month can helpthem with the prevalence of their...

...seizures, and certain people with diabetes canalso benefit from short term catosis, because it lowers your blood glue, coast level. But like, like I said at the beginning, thesepeople are being monitored by physicians and this has beenrecommended to them by their doctor, not by their friend on instagram. So that is the Kito Diet and I'm notgoing to try to tell you how to live, but I hope that this has kind of opendyour eyes, if you're, currently in catosis or if you're planning, ontrying the Kito Diet and, like always, I will probably beback at the end of the week with another full length episode.
